Due East Strength Co. ยท Hamptons, NY Version 2026-09-24-1
Understand the service, its limits, and your choices before agreeing. These terms apply when you affirmatively accept this version; viewing this page does not record acceptance.
The service and its limits
Rob Murphy operates the Due East Strength Co. service in Hamptons, NY, providing general fitness education, exercise planning, accountability and general wellness support. Your selected membership determines what is included. Foundation is self-guided; it does not include individual coaching, coach messaging, calls, form review or nutrition coaching.
Rob Murphy is not a physician, physical therapist, registered dietitian, certified personal trainer or certified strength and conditioning specialist. Due East does not provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, physical therapy or medical nutrition therapy. Coaching is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.
References to emergency-services experience, EMS or BLS instruction describe background only. They do not mean Rob is acting as a medical provider through Due East or holds a personal-training or strength-and-conditioning certification.
Your health comes first
Consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing an exercise or nutrition program. Obtain any necessary clearance and follow their restrictions. For planned or recent surgery, follow your surgical team's instructions before beginning or resuming exercise.
An intake questionnaire, automated recommendation, message, photo or video does not diagnose a problem or establish that an activity is safe for you. Clinician instructions take priority over every Due East recommendation.
Stop exercising and seek appropriate medical attention for pain, dizziness, fainting, chest discomfort, unusual shortness of breath or other concerning symptoms. The app, support inbox and coaching line are not emergency services and are not continuously monitored. For an emergency in the United States, call 911. Do not wait for a reply.
Participation and foreseeable risks
Exercise and changes in food or fluid intake carry risks, including strains, falls, worsening an existing condition, dehydration, overhydration and, in some circumstances, serious injury or death. Remote coaching cannot supervise your surroundings, equipment or every repetition.
You choose whether to participate and may stop an activity. Use appropriate equipment and a safe environment, work within your abilities, and obtain qualified in-person supervision when needed. Do not attempt an unfamiliar or unsuitable movement merely because it appears in the app. Ask for clarification instead of guessing.
Your acknowledgment records your understanding of these risks and the service's limits. It is not medical clearance, a statement that you have no health conditions, or a promise that Due East has no legal responsibility.
Plans, estimates and results
Some plans, substitutions, reminders and calorie, macro or fluid estimates are generated automatically from your answers. Estimates are starting points, not prescriptions; changing a target does not make it medically suitable. Follow clinician-set limits, including fluid restrictions, instead of an app estimate.
Included nutrition support is general education and habit support, not treatment. Discuss allergies, pregnancy, medications, eating-disorder concerns and medical dietary needs with an appropriately qualified professional. You may skip optional automatic estimates and tracking. No particular change in weight, strength, appearance or other result is guaranteed.
Accounts and eligibility
The initial app release is for adults aged 18 or older in the United States. Minors may not enroll through another person's account. Keep account information accurate and your password private. Do not share accounts, access someone else's records, upload unlawful material or interfere with the service.
Creating an account or checking the terms agreement does not start a subscription or charge. Access to paid features depends on the verified membership, not simply the tier selected during setup.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Before purchase, review the membership's included services, price, billing period, trial eligibility and renewal terms displayed by the payment provider. A recurring subscription renews according to those purchase terms unless cancelled. Trial eligibility and the charge following a trial are shown in the purchase flow; a trial is not guaranteed for every account.
iPhone subscriptions use Apple. Web coaching subscriptions use Stripe only where that checkout is offered. Manage cancellation, renewal and applicable refund requests through the provider that billed you. Provider terms and rights required by law continue to apply.
For Apple subscriptions, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Follow Apple's cancellation instructions. Deleting the app, signing out or requesting deletion of your Due East account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Coaching call allowances and nutrition/private-line access depend on the purchased tier. A proposed call is not confirmed until both parties agree. Do not assume a pending proposal, reschedule or invitation establishes an agreed appointment.
Payment interruptions and account closure
Paid-feature access depends on the subscription status confirmed by the billing provider, including any applicable billing-recovery or grace period. If paid entitlement ends, paid features may become unavailable. These terms do not promise a fixed Due East grace period or automatic account-closure schedule.
Cancelling future renewal does not by itself authorize early deletion of your account during a remaining paid subscription period. Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate requests. Use the available account-deletion controls or contact Due East about deletion, subject to identity verification and the retention exceptions described in the Privacy Notice.
Do not rely on Due East as your only copy of information you need to retain. After deletion is completed, deleted progress cannot be promised to be recoverable; returning may require a new signup.
Your information and optional choices
The Privacy Notice explains account information, health-related entries, uploads, service providers, retention and deletion. Accepting these terms is not permission for marketing, optional notifications, public testimonials or public use of your photos. Those choices remain separate.
Submit only material you have the right to share. You retain your rights in your own content; sharing it with Due East permits processing needed to provide the requested service, as described in the Privacy Notice, not unrelated advertising use.
Your rights and changes
Nothing here excludes liability where doing so is unlawful or removes non-waivable consumer rights. These terms do not release claims for negligence, gross negligence, reckless conduct, fraud or intentional wrongdoing, and do not impose arbitration or a class-action waiver.
Material terms changes will be presented for a new affirmative acceptance before applying to future use. Prior acceptance will not be rewritten or backdated. Declining new terms does not remove available subscription-management, password-recovery or privacy controls.
What your checkmark confirms
Selecting the initially unchecked agreement box and continuing confirms that you are at least 18, have read and agree to the identified version, and understand the stated qualifications, service limits and participation risks. The agreement text is:
I am 18 or older. I have read and agree to the Terms of Service & Safety Acknowledgment, including the qualifications, service limits and participation risks.
The acceptance record identifies the document version and fingerprint, account identifier and server-recorded acceptance time. Opening or scrolling the document does not accept it. The checkmark records your confirmation; it does not independently prove that you read every word.
